Applications are invited from suitably qualified medical practitioners for the above position in the Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD). This position will be located in the Department of Health Education Centre Against Violence at Integrated and Community Health.

Successful applicants will be responsible for development, coordination, and delivery of training support for NSW Health Child Protection Clinicians and NSW Health Clinical Staff working with children in other Health settings.

This role works in partnership with the Executive Project Officer and lead hospitals and to align Child Protection Training across NSW. ECAV is a partner in an NSW Health funded Safety and Support for Children Experiencing Violence, Abuse and Neglect Program.

This program aims to build capacity of NSW Health services to respond to children experiencing violence abuse and neglect. Conditions of appointment are in accordance with the Staff Specialists (State) Award.
