Description
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provision high quality, evidence based, culturally appropriate clinical care for a spectrum of sexual health presentations in a specialist environment working within a collaborative practice model of care.
- Ensure high quality and timely clinical and non-clinical documentation and information management, whether paper-based or enabled by information technology.
- Provide outstanding education, training and supervision to undergraduate and postgraduate students from all disciplines, with a focus on Sexual Health advanced trainees of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and other professional colleges, as well as medical students from the University of Queensland School of Clinical Medicine and other Australian and international medical schools.
- Perform and participate in research and clinical trials in cooperation and collaboration with staff from any discipline at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, related hospitals, or other institutions.
Essential qualifications
- Proof of qualifications and specialist registration in Sexual Health Medicine, or eligible for specialist registration in Sexual Health Medicine with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Fellowship of the Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine (or equivalent).
