Description
Provide high quality, cost efficient and effective clinical and non-clinical services to directly or indirectly benefit the patients/clients.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Initiate and be responsible for the clinical care of patients while in the Paediatric Department.
- Arrange patient management in accordance with the best interests of the patient
- Consult with other hospital staff as required with respect to patient management and related issues.
- Ensure the post-discharge care of patients is arranged as required.
- Ensure the timely acceptance and transfer of emergency paediatric presentations to the children’s ward, ages 0-17. Health Equity Metro North Health is committed to improving health and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
