Description
The ATC in Gastroenterology oversees the Advanced Training program in Gastroenterology in the Adult Medicine Division and Paediatrics and Child Health Division.
ATC meetings are held twice per year, with 1 face-to-face meeting held in Sydney and 1 meeting held virtually via zoom.
The key responsibilities of the ATC include:
- assessment of Advanced Training in Gastroenterology
- monitor and assess individual trainee progress in Gastroenterology
- review of Advanced Training settings in Gastroenterology
- development and review of Gastroenterology training program requirements
- review of the Advanced Training Curriculum in Gastroenterology when required
The key responsibilities of the Advanced Trainee Representative are:
- represent trainee interests on the ATC in Gastroenterology
- receive feedback from trainees and report back to the ATC in Gastroenterology
- provide feedback on training program requirements, assessment, curricula and resource content in Gastroenterology
