The CLS is a comprehensive, online lecture series that reflects the curriculum and supports basic trainees.
The CLS AMD Committee oversees the delivery of a tailored lecture series for AMD trainees, ensuring alignment with the AMD Basic Training curriculum.
Essential attributes
- AMD Fellow residing in WA
- demonstrates commitment to trainee education
- demonstrates involvement or interest in online medical education
- demonstrates understanding of the medical education environment in WA
- demonstrates experience in leadership
- strong links with physicians across specialties in WA
- strong organisational skills
- cooperative, positive, and high standards of ethical behaviour
Key responsibilities
- regularly meet with the CLS Committee to help develop the AMD program and plan the annual lecture schedule
- attend Committee meetings regularly (meetings are 1 hour, 2-3 times a year via video-conference, plus 1 face-to-face meeting in Sydney)
- nominate topic leads where needed
- develop good working relationships with CLS committee members
- assist in ensuring the CLS Adult Medicine and Paediatrics and Child Health streams works harmoniously

Members are appointed for a 3 year term and may be renewed once. Key stakeholders include the CLS Bi-national Coordinator and Deputy Coordinator (AMD), CLS Coordinators (AMD), the CLS Product Manager (RACP), and the WA Committee.
