The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (“the College”, “we” or “us”) is committed to protecting your personal information.  We collect your personal information so that we can, for example:

  • process your application for registration
  • conduct training, peer review, and examinations
  • invite you to events and seminars
  • offer you member benefits and other services
  • send you notices about elections
  • conduct research and surveys

This may involve the disclosure of personal information to third parties connected with training, peer review, assessments, examination and continuing professional development such as current or future supervisors, speciality societies, the Australian Medical Council and/or the Medical Council of New Zealand

In some instances, we may disclose your personal information to third parties that we have engaged to provide us with services on your behalf, such as:

  • training and education
  • event management
  • payment processing
  • preparation of mailings

From time to time, the College may use your personal information for the purposes of informing you of events and services, for example, to send newsletters and promotional offers about our events, initiatives, and services.  By providing your personal information, you consent to the use of your information in this way.  If you do not wish to receive our notices, you can unsubscribe by clicking the unsubscribe function, or by updating your preferences in any electronic communication or contact us.
