Perioperative Medicine Short Course 2026 (March)

This online course translates the latest evidence and guidelines to provide you with the knowledge and tools to feel confident you are providing the best perioperative care to your patients.
Through 12 key topics in perioperative medicine, our goal is to provide an engaging learning experience through our interactive modules which include videos, podcasts, links to key papers / online resources and practical clinical scenarios delivered to you by experts in that field.
Eligibility: Anyone who is interested in perioperative medicine with a minimum Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) can register for this course. However, we recommend participation is best suited for the following specialties:
- Anaesthetists
- Intensivists
- Physicians
- Surgeons
- Pain Specialists
- Emergency Physicians
- General Practitioners
2 Online Course Dates: Monday 16 March – Friday 5 June OR Monday 10 August - Friday 30 October
One Block Day (optional with an additional fee): Saturday 7 November 2026. Limited to 60 participants.
Mode: 12-week online course
Time commitment: 4-6 hours per week (on average) for online content. Participants are required to review 12 topics (one released each week) which includes self assessment questions within the topics, designed as education materials. There are no assessment tasks.
