Join the Primary Care Diabetes Society of Australia and an expert faculty to explore the role of CGM in contemporary diabetes care - the value of real-time data and monitoring, its application in the clinic, as well as the limitations of traditional measures, such as HbA1c.
This session will provide practical knowledge to assist with interpreting CGM metrics and how these align with individual care goals.
Clinical case discussion will apply learned knowledge regarding recognition of glucose trends and patterns, and the value of continuous monitoring, and translate this into clinical action.
The influence of CGM on patient engagement, education and outcomes will be discussed as this tool becomes integrated into routine diabetes management.
