Most governance programs teach frameworks. We teach real-world leadership in clinical governance.
Designed by specialist healthcare executives for healthcare executives, this program is grounded in frontline experience, real incidents, and practical decision-making challenges.
At AIHE, we move beyond generic governance training. Our approach is patient-centred, data-driven and deeply practical, ensuring you leave with skills you can apply immediately in your organisation.
The course consists of 4 core modules:
- Module 1: Practical Clinical Governance for Healthcare Leaders
- Module 2: Patient-Centric Clinical Incident Management
- Module 3: Contemporary Open Disclosure
- Module 4: Data-Driven Clinical Governance
Upon completion of the course, you will be able to:
- understand your responsibilities as an executive or clinical leader, and how to discharge them with confidence
- move beyond policy to embed genuine patient-centred governance, incident management and open disclosure
- design and strengthen governance structures, dashboards, committees and reporting frameworks that drive meaningful oversight
- navigate sentinel events, root cause analysis and high-risk clinical services with executive-level insight
- build a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement across clinical teams
- interpret clinical indicators, dashboards and outcomes data to guide strategic and operational decisions
