Join us for our upcoming webinar, Managing Conflict, Addressing Incivility, and Promoting a Culture of Kindness in the Workplace, on Wednesday, 10 December 2025 from 4pm to 5pm AEDT.

As part of our Wellbeing Advocates series, this webinar explores key aspects of physician wellbeing and offers practical strategies for fostering healthier workplaces, supporting colleagues, and sustaining high-quality care.

In this session, we focus on how to manage conflict effectively, address incivility, and foster a workplace culture grounded in respect and kindness. Conflict is a normal and sometimes healthy part of professional life, but when it becomes uncivil or disrespectful, it can undermine wellbeing, trust, and collaboration.

Understanding the difference between conflict and incivility, and learning how to respond effectively, are critical skills for sustaining personal and organisational wellbeing

Speakers

The interactive session will be led by Dr Susannah Ward, Chair, Member Health and Wellbeing Committee (MHWC) and Dr David Beaumont, Deputy Chair, MHWC with a panel comprising the following speakers:

  • Dr Cheryl Martin – Emergency Physician, Graduate of the Stanford Medicine Chief Wellness Officer Course; Creator and Host of The Mind Full Medic Podcast
  • Associate Professor Sandhya Limaye – Immunologist and Immunopathologist, Director of Wellbeing at Concord Repatriation General Hospital NSW

Together, they will share insights and strategies for navigating interpersonal challenges, maintaining healthy boundaries, and fostering compassionate, sustainable workplaces.
