  • Salary/Total Indicative Remuneration: $99,707 - $158,523 p.a. plus Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice benefits – MDP2
  • Temporary Full-Time, up to 27 January 2030

An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as an Advanced Trainee within our highly skilled Cardiology department. The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia. As an Advanced Trainee, you'll be part of a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to improving the lives of our patients.

You'll work alongside renowned cardiologists and healthcare professionals, gaining invaluable experience in the diagnosis, treatment and management of a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. This role offers a unique blend of clinical practice, research and education, ensuring a well-rounded and enriching experience. As per the SA Health Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement 2022, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 12 month allocation as Medical Practitioner will be determined in line with your training and SA Health’s requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities.

Essential qualifications 

  1. Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
  2. registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.

The Total Indicative Remuneration figure is calculated taking into account base salary, leave loading and superannuation as well as managerial allowances, professional development or any other allowances where appropriate.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check. Check(s):

Immunisation Risk for this position is – Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
