The TRELLiS Program

Delivering a simpler, more connected member experience.

Overview

TRELLiS is a significant program of work that will improve how we support you across your professional journey. Specifically, it focuses on:

  • simpler interactions
  • better connected systems
  • reducing the effort required to get important things done.

TRELLiS will be delivered in stages over time, but it’s not an open-ended transformation. The program has clear scope and outcomes, and these will continue to be assessed as we progress.

You’ll see the visible impact of TRELLiS as we roll out improvements to the MyRACP portal and website. There are also significant upgrades to the systems that underpin your interactions with the College, including a new member management system and finance system.

We know you’re concerned about cost, complexity and governance, and these factors have been front of mind throughout the development of the program.

Why TRELLiS exists

We know that engaging with us can be challenging. When our processes are difficult to navigate or systems don’t join up, everyday interactions become harder than they should be. And you feel the cost in time, effort and frustration.

We recognise this, and TRELLiS has been designed to directly address these issues.

What it means for you

Over time, you can expect:

  • simpler, more consistent processes
  • clearer, more visible information
  • a more seamless, personalised experience

Changes will be delivered progressively, and we’ll be careful to avoid unnecessary disruption. Some improvements will be noticeable sooner. Others will take longer as we work behind the scenes to get them right.

How TRELLiS is governed

You’ve been clear: any improvements need to be governed, transparent and disciplined. Vision alone isn’t enough.

We agree. We’ve developed TRELLiS with clear governance, staged delivery and active accountability for scope, spend and outcomes.

The program is governed through established RACP structures, which exist to challenge assumptions, control spend, manage risk, and pause or redirect activity when needed. There are no parallel or informal arrangements.

The structures include:

The RACP Board

Overall oversight and assurance.

Finance & Risk Committee

Investment decisions and affordability, risk management, controls and assurance.

Technical Committee

Technology oversight and alignment.

TRELLiS Program Control Group (includes the CEO and all Senior Leadership Team)

Accountable for delivery and organisational impact, scope, sequencing and benefits realisation.
