• Temporary for either 6 months or up to 24 months, depending on training requirements

Term of the Contract: 3 Years in line with clause 52 of the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement At the end of the training program, CALHN will work with the employee to find a suitable placement within SA Health for the remainder of the 3 year contract. Essential qualifications

• A Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, with General Registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia.
• Current or planned training with the Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine is preferable.
• Strong Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities, with a genuine empathy for patients and their families, and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team or independently.
• Clinical Competence & Problem Solving: Proven skills in ward-based procedures, sound clinical judgement, and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure while maintaining patient care standards. 
• Commitment to Excellence & Adaptability: A proactive approach to quality improvement and a strong understanding of contemporary medical practices, with a positive response to change and knowledge of WHS principles.
