About the role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Geriatrician to join our Older People's Health and Rehabilitation Service, working alongside dedicated medical, nursing, and allied health teams to provide high-quality care for older people with complex health and rehabilitation needs.
As a Senior Medical Officer, you will:
- provide specialist inpatient and outpatient consultant services
- contribute to intermediate care and community-based settings
- mentor junior medical staff
- collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- provide cover for colleagues when required
There are no after-hours duties attached to this role.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who is committed to patient-centred care, service improvement, and building strong relationships with colleagues, consumers, and other healthcare providers.
You will enjoy working collaboratively across specialties to deliver responsive, high-quality care.
