As a Consultant Paediatrician, you'll deliver exceptional care to paediatric and neonatal patients across the Goldfields, combining inpatient, outpatient and outreach services.

Based at Kalgoorlie Health Campus, you'll work alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team, lead service improvement initiatives, and mentor junior doctors. Supported by a dedicated team of Paediatricians and trainees, you'll play a vital role in shaping paediatric care for regional communities. Essential qualifications

Our ideal Paediatrician will meet the following suitability requirements: 

• Current registration as a medical practitioner and specialist Paediatrician with the Medical Board of Australia, with eligibility to practise independently in Australia
• Lead and promote a culture of clinical excellence through active participation in clinical governance, risk management, quality improvement activities, clinical audit and policy development
• Demonstrate highly developed communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills 
• Provide leadership, supervision, mentoring and education to medical staff, students and multidisciplinary teams

The requirement listed below will be assessed but is desirable for this role: 

• Demonstrate an understanding of the challenges and opportunities of delivering specialist paediatric services in a regional and remote setting, including the ability to work collaboratively across geographically dispersed health services.
