Description
In Queensland, the General Paediatric Advanced Training Network offers a 2-year program for trainees to meet certain core professional experience requirements of the RACP.
Trainees are appointed to facilities for 6- to 12-month periods and will remain on the network for 2 years, subject to ongoing satisfactory performance.
Essential qualifications
- hold general registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- hold registration with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians
- have successfully completed RACP basic paediatric training including the written and clinical exams
- be commencing first or second year of advanced training in general paediatrics in 2027
