Description
As an Infectious Diseases Consultant/Microbiologist, you’ll play a key role in improving health outcomes for patients across the region. From delivering expert clinical advice to guiding safe, evidence-based care, you’ll work with passionate professionals who are committed to better patient experiences and stronger health services.
This is a part-time role working 32 hours per fortnight, with a total remuneration package ranging from $260,855 (L18) to $321,438 (L27), comprising:
- salary rates between $106.91 (L18) and $135.55 (L27) per hour
- motor vehicle allowance
- professional development allowance
- professional development leave of 3.6 weeks each year
- regional attraction allowance
- professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements.
Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.
Essential qualifications
The ideal candidate will have Specialist qualifications and eligibility for registration in Infectious Diseases and Microbiology/Pathology in Australia.
