Description
The Medical Education Registrar role is responsible for leading, promoting and supporting the development of medical education relevant to Physician training within the WA Country Health Service and the WA Rural Physician Training Pathway (WA RPTP). This includes developing, implementing and evaluating innovative education models, programs and strategies directed towards supporting rural Physician training, in conjunction with the WA RPTP central coordinating unit and local-based Physician educators, supervisors and directors. This position will also work with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate and administer the WA RPTP including supporting accreditation, training program, and reporting requirements.
Essential qualifications
Applicants must hold General Registration with the Australian Medical Board and must also be progressing towards attaining Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) preferably as an Adult Internal Medicine Advanced Trainee of any recognised speciality or a post clinical exam Basic Physician Trainee.
