Description

We're seeking a Medical Officer OR Rural Generalist Medical Officer with Private Practice - Perm Full Time (80 hrs per fn). Part-time considered.

Essential qualifications

  • Must have FACRRM or FRACGP – RG or comparability through Competent Authority Pathway from the UK, Ireland, NZ, USA or Canada.
  • At least 3 years’ post graduate experience, with highly developed clinical skills.
  • Rural generalist skills as this role also entails work in the hospital’s ED and general medical wards.
  • Completion of the Advanced Skill in Obstetrics (or equivalent) and be proficient and eligible for credentialing by the Mackay HHS credentialing committee as a Rural Generalist with Advanced Skill in Obstetrics.
  • The applicant must demonstrate recent clinical practice relevant to the scope of this role, consistent with the MBA’s registration standards.
