Sites include the Royal Darwin Hospital, a level 3 teaching hospital, and Palmerston Regional Hospital, a level 2 hospital. They have approximately 370 and 75 beds, respectively, and deliver an active and successful Physician Training Programme for both Basic and Advanced Trainees.

You'll gain exposure to a fascinating array of pathology in the midst of tropical Australia with a strong emphasis on Aboriginal Health. The role has attracted many dedicated trainees over the years and has been a highly valued experience by senior trainees. Advanced Trainees participate in outreach clinics in remote communities.

Most trainees are placed in a General Medicine term and subspecialty term to complement their interests during the year with dual training supported. Advanced Trainees in General and Acute Care Medicine can undertake rotations in Haematology, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Cardiology, Geriatrics, Respiratory Medicine, Perioperative Medicine, Palliative Care, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology/Immunology and Neurology.

  Comprising salary $122,264 -$153,195 superannuation, leave loading and the value of 2 weeks extra recreation leave
• Senior Registrar (Remuneration Package Range $195,576 - $213,632)
  Comprising salary $166,617 - $182,143 superannuation, leave loading and the value of 2 weeks extra recreation leave.
