Employment Type: Medical Team Lead - Early Phase Clinical Trials

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Medical Director, you will act as 2IC to the medical team, combining hands-on clinical work and Principal Investigator responsibilities with genuine people and operational leadership.

The EPU is a therapeutic-agnostic Phase I/II facility working with global pharmaceutical, biotechnology and academic sponsors.

Essential qualifications

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Experience as a Principal Investigator and/or Sub-Investigator in clinical trials
  • Working knowledge of ICH-GCP and applicable clinical trial regulations
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring and performance management
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, non-hierarchical environment
  • Eligible to work in Australia
