You'll enjoy a competitive remuneration package valued at up to $185,624 per annum, including:
- salary ranging from $137,196 to $158,618 per annum
- up to 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% annual leave loading
- Vocational Training Subsidy (L4-L9)
This is a temporary full-time position (76 hours per fortnight) for up to 12 months, with the possibility of extension. Applications will remain in the talent pool for 12 months.
About the Role
As part of our medical team, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality patient care across the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. Working closely with consultants, visiting specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals, you'll help provide safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients at Bundaberg Hospital.
You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to medical education by sharing knowledge, supporting learning, and helping to develop the skills of both colleagues and future healthcare professionals.
This role offers excellent exposure to a broad range of clinical experiences while working within a collaborative and supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving health outcomes for the local community.
Essential qualifications
The successful applicant will hold the required medical qualifications and registration to practise within Australia, including:
- medical qualification from a recognised tertiary institution
- current registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA), including a current practising certificate
- ability to provide certified copies of qualifications and professional registration or membership (where applicable) prior to commencing clinical duties
- at least 3 years of postgraduate hospital experience is highly desirable
