Rehabilitation medicine at its most meaningful happens close to home—in the communities where patients live, work, and recover.

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is seeking multiple Rehabilitation Consultants to join the Northern Adelaide Rehabilitation Service (NARS) based at Modbury Hospital, delivering specialist inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation to northern Adelaide communities.

What you'll be doing

• Providing specialist medical assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients across rehabilitation streams including neurological, musculoskeletal, and reconditioning programs.
• Leading and contributing to multidisciplinary team meetings, care planning, and goal-setting with patients and families.
• Supporting junior medical staff and students through supervision, teaching, and clinical mentorship.
• Collaborating with community, primary care, and acute services to enable safe, timely transitions in care.

Essential qualifications

To be eligible for this position, you must possess

• Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
• Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist re
• Advanced Trainees in Rehabilitation Medicine anticipating AFRM Fellowship in Rehabilitation Medicine in the near future are also eligible to apply
