Description
Senior Medical Officer Paediatrics Permanent Part-time position available – 45 hours per fortnight This role will provide high quality clinical care to patients requiring Paediatric services within West Moreton Health and to clinically manage the provision, development and maintenance of an effective, efficient and equitable service to ensure appropriate patient care. Additionally, this role will provide professional leadership within the specialty area and provide training, education and supervision to junior medical staff and other health care members.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Registration, or be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Specialist qualifications in Paediatrics, acceptable to the Medical Board of Australia and to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
- Supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
