Description
Manning Base Hospital is seeking an experienced General Physician to join our supportive and well-established medical team in Taree. This role offers a 50:50 split between General Medicine and subspecialty practice, with opportunities across Geriatrics, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Infectious Diseases, Neurology or Gastroenterology.
You will provide General Medicine services across the general wards, ICU, HDU and Emergency Department, working closely with a collaborative multidisciplinary team. With supportive management, friendly and collegial staff, and upcoming upgrades like a new inpatient building and a transition to digital patient records, Manning Base continues to evolve as an ideal place to work. Live and work in the Manning region. Located approximately 2 hours north of Newcastle and 3.5 hours north of Sydney, Taree offers a relaxed regional lifestyle, excellent schooling, a temperate climate and easy access to the coast and surrounding attractions. An eligibility list will be created for future temporary and permanent positions.
Essential qualifications
We are seeking a physician who:
- holds FRACP and specialist registration with AHPRA
- is committed to high-quality, patient-centred care
- enjoys working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- is passionate about improving health outcomes for rural and regional communities
- has experience or an interest in developing a subspecialty service
International Medical Graduates requiring upskilling and supervision will not be considered.
