Best Poster Prize in Adult Medicine
The RACP awards the Best Poster Prize in Adult Medicine to a Fellow and a trainee who each demonstrates excellence of hypothesis, scientific merit and oral presentation for a poster presentation at the RACP Congress.
Applicants must be a Fellow or trainee of the RACP's Adult Medicine Division.
Two prizes are on offer for one Fellow and one trainee.
Each recipient will receive AUD$1000 and a certificate presented at the Congress gala dinner.
Read the terms and conditions and abstract guidelines before you apply.
Abstract submissions are through the RACP Congress website. You must indicate which prize category you’re entering:
- Best Poster Prize in Adult Medicine (Fellow)
- Best Poster Prize in Adult Medicine (Trainee)
Members of the Adult Medicine Congress Program Committee will review the abstracts and select those that meet the highest standard.
Selected applicants will be notified by the RACP Foundation and briefed on the next stage to be held at RACP Congress: a poster and short oral presentation in the style of a Three Minute Thesis to be delivered within a session of the Adult Medicine stream.
On the day, a Judging Panel will judge the posters and presentations.
Prize winners will be notified prior to the RACP Congress gala dinner, where they will be formally announced and presented with their prizes.
Note: You must be registered to attend RACP Congress to be able to participate in the poster presentation.
The RACP requires the recipient's permission to publish their winning abstracts in the Internal Medicine Journal.
Publication of abstracts is at the discretion of the Journal’s Editor in Chief.
