The service promotes the importance of and is actively engaged in research activity.
Demonstrating the standard
7.1 The service actively promotes the importance of research amongst its professional staff and promotes a culture which is supportive of staff being engaged in research.
7.2 The service ensures that Rehabilitation Medicine trainees working within the service are supported to undertake research activities particularly those required as part of the training program (e.g. research module).
7.3 The staffing levels outlined in Staffing do not include time required for research activities.
