ANZAN Webinar: Stroke - achieving the national 30/60/90 time targets
Date:
10 Sep 2025 at 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Host:
Australian and New Zealand Association of Neurologists (ANZAN)
Australia's national stroke performance has lagged international peers, to the detriment of patient outcome. This webinar outlines the key areas the Australian stroke community are focusing on to improve patient outcomes.
We'll discuss how these were selected, the progress so far, and the steps still needed to meet the targets. Dr Chloe Mutimer and A/Prof Philip Choi will present granular initiatives implemented by their top performing hospitals, providing practical tips applicable and generalisable to other stroke hospitals.
This webinar will be hosted by Professor Timothy Kleinig. Prof Timothy Kleinig is the current Australian and New Zealand Stroke Organisation President, Chair of the South Australian Stroke Community of Practice and Head of the Royal Adelaide Hospital Comprehensive Stroke Centre, one of Australia’s busiest. He has active research interests across the continuum of stroke and works locally and nationally to maximise the chances of health outcome equity for all stroke patients: the Stroke Targets represent one such focus of activity.
