Our 2-day Focussed Cardiac Ultrasound workshop is designed for medical professionals seeking practical, clinically relevant cardiac ultrasound skills. It is suitable for junior doctors through to consultants, including emergency physicians, intensivists, anaesthetists, cardiology trainees, general medicine and surgical clinicians, and rural GPs.
We also welcome paramedics, nurses and other health professionals looking to develop point of care cardiac ultrasound capability.
The workshop equips clinicians with the essential skills to confidently perform a focussed cardiac ultrasound exam, supporting accurate diagnosis and timely patient care.
Training is delivered in small groups with a balanced mix of theory and hands on scanning. With a 1:3 educator ratio and real patient scanning, participants receive personalised guidance and ample practice time.
