Register for this engaging free webinar where we dive into the challenges and the future of Artificial Intelligence including where the health system is heading with this technology.

You'll hear from experts on the RACP’s Digital Health Advisory Group as they explore whether Generative AI really does outperform clinicians, the importance of clinical validation, whether we should incorporate large language models into our clinical practice, and the ethical challenges of AI in digital health.

All College members are welcome to attend this event, regardless of your career stage or digital health experience.

  • Speakers

    Dr Sandra Johnson

    Sandra is a Paediatrician and Clinical Academic at the University of Sydney. She is a member of the RACP Digital Health Advisory Group and is the RACP representative to the Australian Institute of Digital Health and the Australian National Children’s Digital Health Collaborative. She has published peer reviewed articles on Artificial Intelligence and has written a textbook chapter on AI for Healthcare. She is the editor and primary author of a textbook on child development and has also contributed a chapter to a textbook on legal medicine.

    Dr Daniel Capurro

    Daniel is an Associate Professor at University of Melbourne and Deputy Director of the Centre for Digital Transformation of Health. His research focuses on clinical data analytics and digital health interventions. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Digital Health and American Medical Informatics Association.

     Dr Rahul Barmanray

    Rahul is an endocrinologist at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and is completing his PhD on proactive inpatient diabetes management. With over 60 peer-reviewed publications and conference abstracts, his research areas of expertise include diabetes, thyroid, digital health, and medical education.
