The GenMed Horizons Special Interest Group for Regional, Rural and Remote General Medicine has released a new booklet outlining accredited General and Acute Care Medicine Advanced Training opportunities across regional, rural and remote (MM2–7) locations in Australia.

The aim of the booklet is to strengthen the visibility and accessibility of specialist General Medicine training opportunities across Australia, while supporting the long-term sustainability of the workforce in regional, rural and remote settings.

The booklet includes:

  • a description of each accredited training position
  • key contacts for each site
  • site specific requirements and preferences
  • program supports and site-specific development opportunities.

Trainees interested in regional, rural or remote training pathways are encouraged to review the booklet
