RACP and Specialty Societies Presidents meet

RACP President, Dr Jacqueline Small met with Presidents and delegates of RACP-affiliated specialty societies and organisations at the NSW State Library on Friday, 17 March 2023. The purpose of the joint forum was to re-engage and enhance and improve relationships between the RACP and the specialty societies.
Thirty-seven specialty societies were represented by their Presidents or delegates, along with Presidents or delegates of the Adult Medicine Division (AMD), Paediatrics & Child Health Division (PCHD), Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (AFOEM), Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFRM), Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine (AChPM), and Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine (AChSHM).
The forum centred around key areas of engagement, including pre-Fellowship education and training, continuing professional development (CPD), workforce, and advocacy. The RACP and Specialty Societies Presidents’ Forum Report summarises the key discussions of the day.
