The RACP congratulates College Fellow, Professor Brendan Murphy, on being recommended for appointment as Secretary of the Department of Health.
Professor Murphy brings with him a wealth of valuable knowledge, expertise and experience in health policy and in the operation of health services.
The College looks forward to continuing to work with Professor Murphy and the Department in addressing the health policy challenges facing the country, and in improving health outcomes for all Australians and particularly for Indigenous Australians.
The College would also like to thank and acknowledge Glenys Beauchamp for her longstanding public service and her work in improving health policies and outcomes in Australia.
