Part-Time Sessional Paediatrician – Developmental/Behavioural or General or Dual Trained

Surrey Hills Paediatrics invites applications from a dedicated paediatricians to join our warm small private practice in Surrey Hills, Victoria. We're seeking a part-time sessional paediatrician to assist with current patient load with a view to ongoing if you enjoy working with us.

Our established practice, led by Dr. Elisa Rough, provides comprehensive and continuous care to children and families in Melbourne and some families from regional Victoria.

The role

This is a sessional, part-time position with flexibility to be negotiated. We're looking for a clinician to manage a patient load that includes a high volume of children requiring assessment and management for developmental and behavioural concerns, such as ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as well as babies and acute medical issues.

Key aspects of the role include:

• providing expert consultation, diagnosis, and management for children with general and complex paediatric conditions
• coordinating care for patients with multiple subspecialty teams and reports
• utilising both in-person consultations and Telehealth appointments to ensure accessible care for families
• maintaining clear, professional communication with families and referring health providers

What we're looking for

• Specialist registration as a Paediatrician with AHPRA.
• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent.
• A compassionate, courteous, and efficient manner with patients and staff.
