Northern Territory Trainees' Committee

The Northern Territory Trainees’ Committee (NTTC) represents the diverse cohort of RACP trainees across the Northern Territory. The Committee aims to ensure trainees feel supported, connected and heard, and works to enhance the training experience by creating opportunities for trainees across sites to engage with one another and participate in College initiatives.

The Committee focuses on:
  • advocacy on recruitment, education, supervision, assessment and training progression
  • strengthening trainee engagement and representation
  • supporting trainee involvement in College programs

The Committee meets 4–5 times per year, generally via videoconference, to discuss current issues impacting trainees and to guide priorities for the region. The NTTC also appoints trainee representatives to relevant College committees and reports to the Northern Territory Committee.

Key functions include:
  • representing trainee interests across the Northern Territory
  • providing input into College decision-making
  • ensuring trainee perspectives inform training matters at a local and College level

Current vacancies

The NTTC currently has vacancies and welcomes expressions of interest from trainees across the Northern Territory who are keen to contribute to advocacy, education, and trainee engagement.
