Victorian & Tasmanian Trainees' Committee

The Victorian and Tasmanian Trainees’ Committee (VTTC) is an active and representative group of RACP trainees across Victoria and Tasmania. The Committee works collaboratively with College bodies and staff to ensure trainees feel supported, connected and well represented throughout their training journey.

The VTTC focuses on:

  • Advocacy in relation to recruitment, education, supervision, assessment and progression through training
  • Strengthening trainee engagement and representation across Victoria and Tasmania
  • Supporting trainee involvement in College initiatives, programs and events
  • Providing input into matters relating to professional development, research, workforce, policy and advocacy

The Committee meets regularly to discuss current issues impacting trainees within the region, guide state-based priorities and ensure trainees’ perspectives inform College decision-making. The VTTC also appoints trainee representatives to relevant College committees and works to enhance visibility, communication and accessibility for trainees across both states.
