Professor Richard Graeme Larkins is an Officer of the Order of Australia recipient and Chancellor of La Trobe University. Professor Larkins was Vice-Chancellor and President of Monash University from September 2003 to July 2009 and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences at the University of Melbourne from 1998 to 2003. Professor Lakrins was also James Stewart Professor of Medicine at the Royal Melbourne Hospital from 1984 to 1997.
