Expressions of interest are open for a Trainee Representative on the Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine (AChSHM) Committee.

Description

The AChSHM Committee is responsible for:  

  • supporting the professional careers of Fellows and trainees of the Chapter;
  • providing advice and direction on health policy, professional affairs, education and other matters relevant to Sexual Health Medicine;
  • promoting and advancing the body of knowledge of Sexual Health Medicine.

The Trainee Representative represents AChSHM trainees on the AChSHM Committee and supports the Chapter President in guiding the Chapter's governance framework and direction.

This appointment is to fill a casual vacancy, with the term concluding in May 2027.

Remaining committee meeting dates for 2026 are:

  • Wednesday 5 August – hybrid meeting (in-person in Sydney and online)
  • Wednesday 21 October – online

2027 meeting dates will be determined and advised at a later date.
