Call for AFRM Fellows - Module 4 Reviewers needed

Summary

The Faculty Assessment Committee in Rehabilitation Medicine is suitably qualified Fellows to join our pool of Markers for the External Training Module 4: Clinical Neuropsychology assessment.

Description

There is currently an urgent need for additional Module 4 Markers to prevent delays in assessment completion and trainee Fellowship progression.

About the role

The FAC oversees the development, preparation, delivery and quality assurance of assessments and examinations within AFRM. Module 4 Markers are responsible for assessing trainee submissions and providing feedback in accordance with AFRM marking outcomes and Advanced Training program requirements.

Markers report to the coordinator, who in turn reports to the Chair of the FAC.

Essential attributes

Applicants must demonstrate clinical neuropsychology experience and meet one of the following criteria:

  • Registered Clinical Neuropsychologist
  • Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFRM)
  • Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP)
Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Volunteering your time and expertise as a Module 4 Marker can contribute towards your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements. Please refer to the relevant CPD framework and handbook for further information.

Key responsibilities
  • Mark External Training Module 4: Clinical Neuropsychology submissions and return assessments within 6 to 8 weeks of receipt
  • Mark submissions received through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process
  • Support contemporary educational principles in learning and assessment within AFRM training programs.
