Description
The key responsibilities of the ATC are to:
- sign off for training approval/certification of Adult Medicine trainees
- monitor Adult Medicine Trainees in Support
- review of individual parts of curriculum or assessment for Adult Medicine
- assist with site accreditation
- project marking
- review of TSP cases outside of committee meetings
- liaise with EO and training sites to coordinate accreditation site visits/reviews
- attend accreditation site visits/reviews
- provide site visit/review report following each visit/review
- project assessment/marking
The following experience will be considered favourably:
- accreditation experience
- current advanced trainee supervisors
- applicants who have attended at least 1 SPDP workshop
The ATC meets via videoconference 4 times a year, with 1 face-to-face meeting in Sydney. The term of office is for 2 years, with the option to serve up to a maximum of 6 years.
