Description

The College Education Committee (CEC) is delegated by the Board as the peak body for education responsible for the governance of the RACP’s education enterprise, its education strategy, standards and policy, and ensuring the consistent high quality of RACP training, education, and continuous professional development (CPD) programs.

The Committee is seeking one basic trainee member.

The functions and membership of the CEC are set out in the CEC By Law. Please note that an updated version of the By-law is underway.

Time Commitment

Members of the CEC should be prepared to make the following commitment of time and energy:
  • 5 meetings annually, including virtual meetings and a minimum of 2 face-to-face meetings
  • Travel time to/from all face-to-face meetings held in Sydney
  • Reading time for papers which are delivered about 1 week before meetings: approximately 4 hours depending on the size and complexity of the agenda
  • Attendance at other College meetings to represent issues relating to education policy and training programs, as required
