Trainees’ Committees across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand play an important role in representing the voice of trainees and shaping the training experience within the College.

As a Trainees’ Committee member, you may be involved in:

• Advocating for trainees on matters relating to education, training progression, supervision, wellbeing, and support
• Representing trainee perspectives at College and regional meetings
• Contributing to the planning of educational and networking events
• Supporting communication and engagement between trainees and the College
• Helping identify opportunities to enhance the trainee experience

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an RACP training program
• Interest in trainee advocacy and representation
• Keen to collaborate with peers and contribute to local initiatives
• Ability to attend regular committee meetings as per bylaws (typically 4-5 per year)
