Trainees’ Committees across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand play an important role in representing the voice of trainees and shaping the training experience within the College.
As a Trainees’ Committee member, you may be involved in:
- Advocating for trainees on matters relating to education, training progression, supervision, wellbeing, and support
- Representing trainee perspectives at College and regional meetings
- Contributing to the planning of educational and networking events
- Supporting communication and engagement between trainees and the College
- Helping identify opportunities to enhance the trainee experience
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an RACP training program
- Interest in trainee advocacy and representation
- Keen to collaborate with peers and contribute to local initiatives
- Ability to attend regular committee meetings as per bylaws (typically 4-5 per year)
