Description

Applications are now open for 3 DPE representative positions on the Training Program Committee – Basic Training in Paediatrics & Child Health (Australia).

The Committee is responsible for overseeing the implementation of College Education Policies within the national Paediatrics & Child Health Basic Training Program, including matters relating to examinations, supervision, and training standards. The Committee also works closely with Directors of Paediatric Education and relevant committees in New Zealand to support the delivery and continuous improvement of the training program.

Reporting to the Training Program Management Committee, the Committee meets 4 times each year via videoconference, with 1 annual face-to-face meeting held at the RACP Sydney Office. Travel and accommodation expenses for out-of-town members attending face-to-face meetings will be covered in accordance with the RACP Travel Policy.

Appointments will be made for an initial term of 3 years, with the opportunity for reappointment.
