One of the main roles of the Committee is to monitor and assess individual trainee progress in Immunology and Allergy across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

There is currently 1 Fellow position vacant on the Committee. In this role, you'll help shape the physicians of the future and positively contribute to the direction, workforce and culture of Immunology and Allergy across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

Key responsibilities of the Committee include:

• supporting responsibilities outlined in the Terms of Reference
• attending Committee meetings (which may require travel)
• preparing for Committee meetings by reading circulated papers in advance
• contributing to the resolution of allocated action items
• communicating with other Committee members between scheduled meetings to progress action items or address relevant matters as they arise
• communicating with College staff to provide guidance and decisions between scheduled meetings to progress action items or address relevant matters as they arise
• preparing correspondence related to the business of the Committee, with the assistance of other Committee members and College staff
• attending or hosting relevant stakeholder meetings related to the business of the Committee, or to raise the profile of the Committee or Training Program

The Committee typically meets 4 times each year, including 1 face-to-face meeting in Sydney. Members are appointed for an initial 3-year term, which may be renewed once for a further and final 3-year term.
