One of the main roles of the Committee is to monitor and assess individual trainee progress in Immunology and Allergy across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

There is currently 1 Fellow position vacant on the Committee. In this role, you'll help shape the physicians of the future and positively contribute to the direction, workforce and culture of Immunology and Allergy across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

Key responsibilities 

• Supporting responsibilities outlined in the Terms of Reference
• Attend meetings of the Committee (which may require travel time)
• Prepare for Committee meetings, reading circulated papers ahead of the meeting
• Contribute to the resolution of allocated action items
• Communicate with other Committee members between scheduled meetings to progress action items or address relevant matters as they arise
• Communicate with College staff to provide guidance and decisions between scheduled meetings to progress action items or address relevant matters as they arise
• Prepare correspondence related to the business of the Committee (with the assistance of other members and College Staff)
• Attend or host relevant stakeholder meetings related to the business of the Committee or to raise the profile of the Committee or Training Program.

The Committee typically meets 4 times each year, with 1 face-to-face meeting in Sydney. Members are appointed to the Committee for an initial 3-year term which can be renewed once for a further and final 3-year term.
