A six-week online Narrative Medicine series for clinicians exploring the experience of clinical work through reflective writing and conversation.
Each session uses poetry, prose or visual art as a starting point, followed by brief writing and conversation with colleagues. Themes across the series include presence, uncertainty, error, shame and compassion.
No previous writing experience is required, and sharing of writing is always optional.
The series is offered by Flourishing in Medicine Australia and facilitated by neurologist and medical educator Dr Ross Carne.
