Corrinne Hutton and Dr Robin Chase will discuss ways to support mental health and the physical considerations of employees returning to work after injury.
The webinar will be chaired by Mr. Keith Govias, Chair, Health Benefits of Good Work Signatory Steering Group.
The Health Benefits of Good Work (HBGW) is an initiative from the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (AFOEM).
About the speakers
Corrinne Hutton is an occupational therapist and a personal injury specialist who is the Manager of Employer Supervision for the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) in NSW. She has spent the last 16 years working in all facets of the personal injury field, including workplace rehabilitation, return to work coordination for a large government agency, provider management, work injury prevention and employer supervision and regulation. In her current role with SIRA, Corrinne is using education, advice, program and service design and strong stakeholder engagement to assist the employers of NSW achieve positive workers compensation and injury management outcomes.
Dr Chase AM MBBS DPH FAFOEM, FFOM(hon), RCPI, was president of AFOEM from 2010 to 2012 and Chair of the AFOEM Policy and Advocacy Committee from 2104 to 2018 and again from 2020. He is the College representative to the Collaborative Partnership and the Lead Fellow for the Partnerships General Practitioner Support Project. He became a Member in the General Division of the Order of Australia in 2017 for significant services to Occupational and Environmental Medicine, professional medical organisations and to medical education. He lives in Adelaide, South Australia and works in private practice in Adelaide and Sydney.
