Australia New Zealand Society of Palliative Medicine 2026 Biennial Conference

This biennial conference celebrates the specialist and generalist medical practitioners who provide expert palliative medical care to the Australian and New Zealand communities. This year’s theme Creative Solutions, Thinking Outside the Square will showcase creative solutions which enhance the person-centred delivery of palliative care nationally and globally.

We welcome all to the event. Membership of ANZSPM is not a requirement. Full registration, student rates, nurse practitioner and day only rates are on offer.

Special interest workshops run on Day 1, including:

• Trainee Forum, open to residents, physicians and other trainees, palliative medicine trainees and those who completed specialist training within the previous 2 years
• Communication Skills half day workshop which provides a safe and interactive environment for participants to hone their communication skills under the guidance of trained facilitators
