We're delighted to welcome you to the ANZSGM NZ Retreat 2026, taking place from 4–6 November at the beautiful Rutherford Hotel Nelson – A Heritage Hotel. This retreat offers a special opportunity for our community to come together in one of Aotearoa’s most picturesque regions.

As clinicians, we deeply value kanohi ki te kanohi — the power of face‑to‑face connection. Our gatherings are far more than a programme of presentations; they're a chance to reconnect, exchange ideas, reflect on shared challenges, and enjoy time with both new and long-standing colleagues.

The 2026 Retreat will be delivered in person, with all sessions held onsite at the Rutherford Hotel. We encourage you to secure your accommodation early, as November is a popular time to visit Nelson and the wider Tasman region.

A range of local social activities and outdoor experiences will be available to help you make the most of your time here. We warmly encourage you to extend your stay and explore the area’s many attractions with your whānau.
