Stepping Up: What We Wish We'd Known – Training Experiences from the Queensland Trainees' Committee
Date:
29 Oct 2026 at 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
The Queensland Trainees' Committee is an active and engaged group representing the diverse cohort of RACP trainees across Queensland. The Committee works to ensure trainees feel supported, connected and heard, and enhances the training experience by creating opportunities for trainees across sites to interact and participate in College initiatives.
The Queensland Trainees' Committee is hosting an engaging event for trainees who wish to learn from real-life experiences. This event will feature insights from Committee members across 3 key areas: regional training, training between public & private Training hospitals, and flexible training — as well as a live Q&A with attendees.
Speakers include:
- Dr Goutham Jaini — "Preparing for Regional Training"
- Dr Kimberley Male — "Flexible Training Insights"
- Dr Roderick Gavey — "Training Between Public & Private Training hospitals"
- A panel of Queensland Trainees' Committee members will share their experiences and answer your questions.
Register now for this Stepping Up event and gain valuable insights from the lived experiences of your fellow trainees. All prospective and current Physician Trainees — both Paediatric and Adult — are welcome to register.
